I’m excited to announce the release of our new White Noise Market website that allows you to download awesome sounds into the White Noise app for free. The most requested feature, audio previews, has been implemented so you can listen before downloading and using up that precious data plan. It also has links to popular music stores such as iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, and Amazon where you can purchase or stream full-length stereo tracks of every sound. That means our sleeping sounds can be truly enjoyed on any device.
The previous server melted down in a fiery mess from all the traffic. We built the new market from scratch on top of Google’s platform so that it will scale to our growing demand of sleepy customers. We made numerous other improvements such as better navigation, search, tags, and commenting. Now it’s super-easy to let us know what you think about each sound. And we are not done.
We have big plans for the White Noise Market and the White Noise app. Some of it is a big secret, but what we can say now is that White Noise is getting a major update that will have native integration with the newly launched market. It should be released in the next couple of months.
