New Timer Alarm Trigger needed

Postby Tom P. » Sat May 14, 2011 12:55 pm

I just purchased and installed White Noise Pro on my iPad 2. Great app and it almost does everything I need (read below). Prior to using White Noise Pro I had created a pink noise sound loop on a CD and had it repeat all night. This app does that and a whole lot more. White Noise Pro is now my new bedside alarm clock as I have an iPad dock on the night stand.

I have set a timer alarm to activate each day at 4:30 pm. This works just fine. However, I have to dismiss the alarm manually each time to turn it off otherwise it will alarm forever (or so it seems). So, the problem is that if I am not home and my iPad is, the alarm will go off at 4:30 and keep alarming until I get home and manually dismiss it. This is not the best situation.

What is needed is to set another timer... say 5 minutes later at 4:35 pm... that will stop the alarm. There are alarm triggers for everything else except this (unless I am missing something).

Thanks,
Tom

Glad you like our iPad version! Have you tried to use a "Stop Sound" event? (I haven't tried this yet but it might work)

Stop sound does what it says... only stops a sound. It does NOT stop an alert. The alert will go forever if not manually dismissed via touch screen button.

Just got the latest update and see that you have addressed this issue. It works perfectly! Thanks very much for this stop alert timer. Now WNP does everything I need.
