iPhone 2.2 upgrade seems to have messed up my white noise ap

Since I installed the 2.2 upgrade for my iPhone white noise has developed serios issues. Mainly I can no longer listen to it at night unless I have my sound button on the phone turned on and I have to turn the screen saver to always on. Both things are a major set back. Does anyone know why this happened?

I restarted my phone, deleted white noise and reinstalled the app with no luck or change from the new issues.
