Bubble Pop v1.0 has been posted to iTunes

Postby toddm » Sun Sep 07, 2008 4:25 pm

Bubble Pop v1.0 has been posted to iTunes. Feedback has been really good. There was one issue someone pointed out and that was lack of sound. Actually that occurs when your iPhone is on vibrate mode. Just switch the ringer on and the sound will return.

Currently working on an update with the following improvements:

- New sound engine not effected by ringer switch
- Faster touch response for bubble popping
- Time bar to make amount of time left more obvious
- Better animations

Please post any feature requests and suggestions here.

Bubble Pop! is a lot of fun -- thanks for posting it on the App Store. One quick suggestion though, have you considered differing levels of difficulty? Us old folks are a little slow sometimes, and this game seems to be over so fast! Apart from that though, it's a lot of fun, and I look forward to future updates and enhancements.

Thanks for taking the time to provide suggestions. We have been thinking of different skill levels or game modes. Possibly even a mode for kids to help learn number sequences. I'm glad you like the game and I hope you find your score and length of game play increases the more you play!

Cheers,
Todd

Mute the sound

Postby pcohen15 » Tue Sep 23, 2008 11:27 pm

I just bought BubblePop and love it. A great diversion. However, is there a way to mute the sound that I'm missing? Otherwise, I can't play it with others around, like on planes or while waiting in airports.

Hi, sorry to say there are no in-game volume controls at this time. However, you can lower it once the game has started using the ringer volume control. Also headphones would disable the speaker. Hope that helps! If not let me know. Cheers, Todd

OK. Thanks for the fast reply. Having a mute function in a future rev would be great.
