DJ Rook wrote:I totally agree a wooden boat sound would be great. The creaking of a wooden ship is very soothing to me. If I can put in my 2 cents:

-Desert/Howling Wolves

-Pine Forest. In my opinion, not too much is more relaxing than hearing the hoot of an Owl and the haunting sounds of a Whipporwill.

-Loons on a lake.

-Waterfall, or dripping water

I second the request for Waterfall!

I would love the sound of a classic Hoover upright vacuum cleaner from the 50's, 60's and 70's. It has a very relaxing sound.

This will be a good complement, because it seems to help relax the baby - and I swear my colleagues at work on this and my daughter,LED Flashlights it works like a charm.

Hopefully people still check this forum.

I have a request for a more steady fan. I'm a much bigger fan of steady sounds, I love sleeping to a fan but it's too cold in the winter and not easily portable when I'm working out of town. I'd love a nice, even fan sound.

The current fan sounds almost squeeky when it turns, and I don't like the variation in sound as it "moves", but a steady machine/fan sound would be fantastic.

Thanks for the feedback. Have you tried the air conditioner sound?

Definitely second an aquatic or underwater noise and a light rain with no birds.

I'd also like something a little more babbling brook than we currently have.

Extraction hood fan from the kitchen,

This noise sends my baby right to sleep both in my house and my brothers, it would be awesome to have it in my phone, only have android/ windows so no way to create it myself.

Thanks for the great app

Tried oscillating fan but whining interferes and air conditioner is not loud enough on my phone (HTC Sensation)

I love the White Noise Sound recorder on my iPad. I recently recorded the Machine Sounds from the movie 'Contact'. Would recommend that to anyone for going to sleep.

This app has a great selection of sounds already, but I would love the addition of two sounds that put me right to sleep:

1) footsteps on a gravel pathway; and
2) footsteps through snow (the *crunch* *crunch* that's sort of deep and soft sounding)

Preferably these sounds would have longer loops so you couldn't detect a pattern as easily. I would also love the crackling fire to be lengthened for the same reason.

Thank you for the app!

I would love it if you would add a Delta Wave sound or two.

One that has been recommened to me is:

3 Hz Binaural Pure Sine Delta Wave And Rain For Deep Sleep (available on Amazon).

Thanks!

I would love the sound of wind or a blizzard. Also, another train noise beside the one in the app would be lovely :)

I would like to have the music option allow you to select more than 1 song, preferably all songs on the iPod.

This is a suggestion for all sounds: have a short fade-in. I tend to use the same sound and volume level every day for work, just open the app and tap play ... but if I forget to push my headphones back or fiddle with the volume first, it really smacks the head with sound when starting. A short ramp-up to preset volume could really help. You could offer it as one of the settings.
