White noise stops when battery full

Postby rloveman » Thu Feb 04, 2010 9:28 pm

Hi. Love the app, but every night I plug in my phone to charge and turn it on ... and every night, the sound shuts off a few minutes later. It's never exactly the same amount of time, and I think it's because my battery has reached full charge (and the phone is chiming to notify me; I'm trying to find out if I can shut off the notifications). Is there any fix for this, other than maybe plugging it in earlier so it's fully charged before I launch the app?

Sound should resume on interruption. If you call the phone while running the app and then hang up, does it resume correctly? And what type of phone do you have?

I don't know because I never call it, but I'll try it and find out (although I finally found out how to turn off this one notification, so maybe it's not an issue anymore and I can sleep uninterrupted tonight). It didn't turn back on afterward, unless I just didn't wait long enough. I usually wake up as soon as the sound stops, and I just restart it and go back to sleep. It's a Tour.

Angela, mine was fixed once I figured out how to turn off that battery-full notification. I can't remember how I did it, though. I figured it out after searching either the Blackberry or Crackberry forums ...

Found it. Options - Advanced Options - Accessibility - Event Sounds - OFF. That took care of it for me, at least. Good luck!
