WP7 version of White Noise not up to par

I recently converted from the iPhone to the Samsung Focus. I am very happy with the switch, and I was excited to see one of my favorite apps, White Noise, available in the marketplace. However, this app is a far cry from the iPhone version. When I had my iPhone this app was updated what, about 3 times a week? I'm exaggerating of course, but I swear it felt like every time I turned on my phone there was an update for this app. Now I have the WP7 version and it it pretty bare bones. Here's my thing...what more can be done with the iPhone version? It's more than polished and needs nothing else as far as I can see. I can't imagine that there are that many iPhone users complaining about this app. Contrast that with the WP7 version which needs a lot of features. Please...PLEASE give some love to this app. At the very least we need pitch control and volume control within the app. I can't get the volume low enough, and I miss being able to pitch down certain sounds to make them more subdued.

Hey Pete, I hear everything your saying. The iPhone SDK has a lot more features for developers such as full openAL support. This for example allows us to support pitch controls without much effort. WP7 currently has minimal sound support so thats why it appears to be bare bones, but in fact it required a lot of specialized code to properly handle looping of sounds. We are planning on an update to add the volume control as requested and we really appreciate your feedback. Cheers

That is interesting and unfortunate about the sound tools. Volume controls at the very least would make this app a lot more usable though. Thanks for the update!

We were able to releases an update today with a volume slider on the main screen. Let me know how it works for you.
