Hello hello. Do you plan to make a Windows Phone 7 white noise app?

Windows Phone 7?

I'm wondering the same thing. There seem to be a few similar apps, but I'm waiting to stick with the one I know. BTW, I'm assuming that the "White Noise" app that is there now is not the real thing. It says it is by Jazzqi (I'm assuming that is not an alias for tmsoft).

Just checked, and it's in the marketplace now. Awesome! That's one app on my wish list that I can cross off.

Thanks Grog and Ashley. It's live on the market but we did notice another White Noise app as well which I'm surprised Microsoft allowed. Just make sure it says TMSOFT LLC

Cheers,
Todd

WP7 is like a more exciting younger brother of the iPhone. It has a dramatically different UI and a very consistent look almost enforced on apps. It has good battery life compared to Android and things "just work" in a very iPhone way. Downsides are the lack of content (apps, video, etc). The fact that tons of stuff requires an internet connection (goes through Bing). The fact that tons of stuff goes through Live Accounts (X-Box Live, Hot Mail, etc). And the fact that Microsoft has released a tiered app development framework only allowing trusted partners access to certain features, dramatically limiting the competition within the market and almost choking its own platform to death.

I've spent the last few months making the same decision you have (iPhone Vs. Android Vs. WP7) and as much as I like the WP7 UI and the dedicated camera button, I think the ecosystem of WP7 is by far the worst (even considering iPhone is OS X tool chain only).

I have just found out that the WP7 emulator is feature locked when I was asked to look into sending emails from my app. I know it is possible to access an unlocked ROM but as this isn't sanctioned it is not something I can do. I also do not have a WP7 phone and cannot get hold of one ye as there isn't the funding as yet to buy one.
So when MS release the full release of the SDK will it remain feature locked or will it act more like a proper phone at this point?
