playlist needs tap to advance, can we not do that?

When I run a list of times like
stop sound
play sound
stop sound
play sound

Whitenoise pops up the alarm screen between events, so I have to rouse and press a button.

How can I not have to respond to the screen as the events occur?

I guess I'm wondering why you wouldn't use the Playlist feature (Tap Catalog/Tap Playlist) as opposed to creating this manually using timers? You can switch to your playlist using the top left category button.

To anchor sound events in time of day, even if a given event starts late. Also to be able to switch a given event on or off.

Thanks, glad you like it. So your basically looking for an option to not have the Play Sound/Mix be treated as an alarm? We were originally asked to be able to use regular white noise sounds as alarms... so that is how it is currently designed.

BTW, when using playlist you can tap to advance by clicking the next button on the media controls.

I'm looking for a way to have a list of events play without interaction. I want to relax and not have to wake up and find the button to move from one event to another.

The timer list seems more convenient for some kinds of sequence control than the playlist.

And the long fade out / in options are nicer than the 10 second incremental fade in playlist.

So yup, I'm looking for a way to not have Play Sound/Mix be treated as an alarm, if that makes these possible.

Speaking of feature requests, being able to save playlists and timer lists would be very fine.

Doesn't sound like the same level of effort though :-) As a developer (but not for iOS) I understand that easy to want is not easy to do...
