White noise also not working when phone is in silent mode

Before the iPhone update 2.2 I used to be able to put my phone on silent and white noise would still work without alarms or text messages chiming in.

Please fix.

the 2.2 update breaks whitenoise (as mentioned in the previous post, when the iPhone goes to sleep, the sound stops). kind of nasty of apple to break things.

please fix it!

also - in the past i have put the phone in mute mode and whitenoise worked fine. that was broken as well with the 2.2 update.
